Do I need to have experience with off-road driving?
No, experience is not required. Our experienced instructors will guide you step by step and ensure that you enjoy the ride safely and with confidence.
Do I need a passenger?
A passenger is not required. However, we do highly recommend bringing one as a co-pilot. Having an extra pair of eyes can be very helpful on narrow or tricky sections and makes it easier to avoid any potential scratches or bumps. It’s completely up to you, but you will definitely appreciate the added support of your passenger(s).
Is a driver’s license required?
Yes, a valid Category B driver’s license is required if you wish to drive yourself. Those who simply enjoy the experience from the passenger seat, of course, do not need a license.
Are safety measures taken?
Yes, safety is our top priority throughout the entire day. Every ride is supervised by professional instructors, with attention to the terrain, speed, and conditions.
Is my passenger allowed to drive as well?
During the morning training session with the instructor, only one driver is allowed for practical reasons. During the free driving session, participants may switch drivers as long as each driver holds a valid driver’s license and respects the house rules.
How many cars can participate?
Places are limited to ensure that every participant enjoys a great driving experience. The Ford Off-Road Experience takes place only once a year. So, don’t wait too long and sign up now!
What if the weather is bad?
The Ford Off-Road Experience will generally take place even in rainy conditions, it often makes the experience even more exciting. Only in extreme circumstances (such as storms or flooding) will the event be postponed or rescheduled at the organizer’s discretion.
